Pre-Exam Strategies!
In the last 3 weeks we will work on past papers with the aim of completing a complete set of mock exams during class time. If you are absent on the mock exam days there will be no time for you to make up this mark. Your final semester mark will be lowered accordingly. You should consider these mock exams to be as important as the final exams. They are ALL in class time therefore it should not be a problem for you to attend. Week 28 (April 8)

Week 29 (April 15)
Mock exam: Paper 2 (2 hours) Both HL and SL will sit a mock exam on Sunday April 15 (lessons 7 and 8) from 1:45-3:45. Please note the late finish and plan your life accordingly.
Mock exam: Paper 1 (1 hour) Both HL and SL will sit a mock exam on Tuesday April 17 (lessons 5 and 6)
Week 30 (April 22)
Mock exam: Paper 3 (1 hour) Both HL and SL will sit a mock exam on Sunday April 22 (lessons 7 and 8) on the podcasting case study
Semester 2 Assessment
Your semester 2 assessment in ITGS will be based on the work listed below. The garde weightings are the same as for your final assessment in ITGS.
Portfolio and Extension (HL) final combined grade (internal assessment) 20%
Project (SL) final grade (internal assessment) 30%
We will spend 3 weeks working on the case study for your Paper 3 exam. The title is "New Technology, New Media-New World". This is an excellent opportunity to explore the impact and issues of podcasting as it has developed over the past 3 years.
In order to get a grip on this topic you are to work as a group and complete a series of podcasts/vodcasts. These are to be completed and uploaded by the time we go on Spring break. The title of the podcast series is "Getting the Message with Podcasting". See the wiki page for more details about your assignment.

Week 24 (Feb.25):
This is the LAST week to hand in any internal assessment that can be counted at all towards your final grade in ITGS. I will not be giving feedback on any work that is submitted after Sunday Feb.25. I will accept final copies of portfolio/project work up until Thursday March 1.
Getting the Message with Podcasting: Make sure ALL relevant informaiton including your list of resources is on your wiki page in a readable form so that others can benefit from your research. The podcasts will also be availabe for revision over the break.
